Luxembourg: Wildgen, Partners In Law, Is Pleased To Announce That Emmanuelle Ragot Has Been Promoted To Partner.
Last Updated: 15 October 2014

Emmanuelle Ragot will continue to head the IP/TMT practice group of the law firm by providing legal advice and dealing with litigation matters. She has been specialized in IP for more than 20 years, and more specifically in trademark litigation. She, assisted by her specialized team, provides local and cross-border IP/TMT legal services to a broad spectrum of industries i.e. luxury, media, new technologies, energy, life sciences, and financial sector.

The Managing Partner, Pierre Metzler, comments on her appointment: "In less than three years with us, Emmanuelle has demonstrated a continued confidence in our firm, its values and its people as well as a high level of technical expertise and a particularly strong commitment to client service. She understands the business and the new challenges her clients have to face and she is well-known for her strong litigation skills before the BOIP, OHIM, WIPO, National and European jurisdictions. We are delighted she accepted to join our partnership, adding great value to our various practices".

In 2012, Wildgen, Partners in Law, decided to strengthen its IP/TMT department to assist its international and local clients with the protection of their IPRs, as well as to develop their core business in or through Luxembourg.

While there is still a strong focus on IP rights and data protection, TMT is becoming more and more relevant for startups and international groups and requires specific skills due to the technical and legal complexity.

"Wildgen, Partners in Law, also receives more and more requests from clients for IP and trademark litigations in Luxembourg as well as in other European member states and we are able to offer them cutting-edge and expert advice in both contentious and advisory work. IP/TMT is an area of constant change and evolution and we expect substantial impacts on corporate organisations in a near future. I am delighted Wildgen, Partners in Law, is confident in the department's further development and in my ability and motivation in steering it", Emmanuelle Ragot says.

Emmanuelle Ragot acquired her qualifications and experience throughout years of academics and practice in London, Paris and Luxembourg. One of the few in Luxembourg to be graduated from CEIPI in trademarks and designs (Strasbourg), Member of the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property since 2008 and Expert (WIPO) in IPRs and domain names, she is known for the strength of her IP / TMT knowledge and her professionalism makes her an indisputable expert in Luxembourg.
