Australia: Norton Rose Fulbright launches global comparative analysis of senior management responsibility in banks
Last Updated: 29 September 2014

Providing insights and commentary on banking reform

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that its second global comparative analysis of banking reform regulations has now gone live, focussing on senior management responsibility in banks.

Norton Rose Fulbright financial institutions partner Alan Bainbridge commented: "Banks have come under increased scrutiny globally, with particular attention focussed on senior executives. We have seen the emergence of complex new rules in the UK and elsewhere around the world surrounding the responsibilities and remuneration of senior executives and the repercussions of falling short of these new benchmarks. This guide gives a valuable insight into how countries are approaching the development of their own specific regimes."

The first Norton Rose Fulbright banking reform guide focused on ' Proprietary trading by banks around the world', to which further jurisdictional analysis has recently been added. Both issues can be found on the Banking Reform section of the Norton Rose Fulbright website.
