Jody Simon, partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been selected as one of the 2014 "Most Influential Lawyers in Digital Media & e-Commerce Law," by the Los Angeles Business Journal for his outstanding achievements in the field.

A leader in online dealmaking since the boom of the early 2000s, Simon will be among 30 practitioners featured in the paper.

Throughout the digital era, Simon has stayed ahead of the curve in the continually evolving video environment, working with such innovators as The Mighty Network, Rug Burn, Ripe TV, GoTV and Chill, Inc. as well as leading providers of digital content.

Simon has been helping clients in the entertainment industry produce innovative and sophisticated television and new media content for more than 25 years. He assists television networks, production companies and executive producers in all aspects of financing, development, production, distribution and the exploitation of projects across multiple media and platforms, and also facilitates licensing, branding and merchandising deals on behalf of a wide range of marquee performers, visual artists, animators, comic book creators, video game publishers and universities.

Simon earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
