Last Updated: 22 April 2014

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Japanese company Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) on an international M&A deal.

TTC has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of a company based in Malaysia and 100% of the shares of another company in Thailand, which are both involved in the sale of after-market car parts as well as batteries, lubricants and oil.

The due diligence on the target companies was prepared by the Norton Rose Fulbright Sydney office with local counsel in Malaysia (SKRINE) and local counsel in Thailand providing local law advice.

The team was led by Michael Joyce with assistance from Steven Moe, Olivia Allan and Ashleigh Standen in Sydney, as well as Sarah Chen, Wangthan Thipthara and Chaniya Panitvisai in Bangkok, and Daryl Lim, who is currently on secondment at TTC.
