Last Updated: April 4 2014

April 3, 2014, Woburn, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire:  On April 17, 2014, Carol Holahan, an attorney in McLane's Energy practice, will join the panel of  the Suffolk University's Center for Advanced Legal Studies on the Evolving Energy Landscape.  Carol's presentation addresses the role of natural gas in the regional market; the risks and benefits of our regional reliance on natural gas, and recent developments in the LNG and CNG markets.

The event will be held from 04:00 PM - 07:30 PM at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.

The New England energy industry is evolving. There is no denying the fact that state and federal energy policies coupled with large-scale natural gas and hydro located on New England's doorstep, have resulted in unprecedented change to the energy industry. In this program, energy and environmental attorneys as well as those engaged and interested in energy related issues will learn about the implications that policies have on generation and transmission development, energy efficiency, siting, and customer costs.

The conference will spotlight the drivers that have resulted in the addition of wind, renewable and natural-gas fired generation in New England and will look at opportunities and challenges associated with developing these resources. Practitioners from throughout the region will specifically discuss infrastructure and siting challenges.

The conference faculty includes:
