This practical day of training is designed to prepare you for the lifecycle of the employment relationship, with a particular focus on behaviour within the workplace.

What we'll cover

  • Establishing a clear Code of Conduct
  • Implementing and communicating clear behavioural standards to your workforce
  • Investigating breaches to the Code of Conduct and allegations of misconduct and serious misconduct
  • Enforcing these behavioural standards and applying the appropriate sanctions, including termination of employment.

  • How to create and model a positive behavioural culture, which both assists productivity and retention.
  • The different approaches managers/supervisors take when managing different personalities, while ensuring parity of treatment.
  • A greater understanding about information and formal responses to poor behaviour
  • How to reward good behaviour in a manner that supports employees' and the organisation's objectives
  • Learn about behavioural issues that arise at different times in the employee lifecycle
  • Your obligations when serious behavioural allegations are made in the workplace, and how to uphold an employer's rights and responsibilities

Termination of employment – how to avoid it by proper behavioural management, or how to do it lawfully if needed.
