Cayman Islands: New Partner at Hunter & Hunter
Last Updated: 22 October 2002

Cayman Islands law firm, Hunter & Hunter, announced on Monday (14 October) the admission to partnership of Allison Nolan. Ms Nolan joined Hunter & Hunter in 1998 as an Attorney in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial, and specialises in the areas of capital markets, banking & finance and investment funds. Prior to moving to Cayman, over four years ago, Ms Nolan was based in London as head of the legal department of Mitsubishi Corporation Finance PLC. She trained with City of London law firm, Taylor Joynson Garrett and, after qualifying in 1990, practised in their banking & finance department.

Senior partner, and head of Hunter & Hunter’s Corporate & Commercial department, Bruce Putterill, said on Monday "The firm has seen considerable growth in recent years, with our headcount increasing by over 30 percent in the last year alone. The time is right for another partner to be admitted and we’re delighted that Allison has come on board, as she has made a considerable contribution to the rapid expansion of the corporate and commercial side of the practice."

The admission of Ms Nolan brings the number of partners to six, with an additional 25 attorneys practising with the firm.
