New Zealand: More than just IP experts – the Pan Media golf tournament proved we're potential golfing stars in the making
Last Updated: 24 March 2014

This month, James & Wells were invited to submit a team to the inaugural Pan Am Classic Golf Tournament hosted by Pan Media and Advertising.

And what a spectacular event to be a part of. With food catered by an award winning chef, drinks supplied by a local microbrewer and cocktails by a Waikato famous mixologist, the event was a hit.

Stand out moments of the day were the two hole in one contests. Prizes included a house and land package, a boat and a plane. Yes a plane.

James & Wells with their team from Waikatolink and Tate Electronics played well and managed to eek out a second place finish.

In his acceptance1 speech, Ceri Wells vowed to return with an even better team in 2015 and expressed his thanks to Pan for running a truly remarkable tournament.

Based in Hamilton, Pan Media and Advertising are a multi-disciplinary advertising agency with capabilities spanning branding, media & advertising, graphic design & software development.

1Refers to the status of a patent application which has been examined by the receiving office (in New Zealand, the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand or IPONZ) and given conditional approval. The application will then typically be advertised in the Patent Office Journal for a brief period to enable third parties to lodge an objection to grant (known as an opposition).
