Australia: IP Firm of the Year promotes legal eagle to Partner

SYDNEY, 26 February 2014 - '2013 Intellectual Property Firm of the Year'* Shelston IP has promoted Katrina Crooks to Partner within its Legal team, based in Sydney.

Katrina practises in intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution. She advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property including patent and trade mark infringement claims, oppositions and revocations, copyright and design disputes, misuse of confidential information, anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting strategies and domain name issues.

Katrina joined Shelston IP in 2012 and was initially based in the firm's Auckland office. As well as her substantial New Zealand experience, Katrina spent many years in the intellectual property team of a leading Dublin law firm where she acted in a number of significant multi-jurisdictional trade mark and patent disputes.
