United States: Wyoming Energy Conference Sells Out

The University of Wyoming College of Law's Center for Law and Energy Resources in the Rockies (CLERR), is hosting its sold out "Landscape Discussion on Energy Law in Wyoming" in Laramie on November 13, 2013. The announced goals of the conference are to "Facilitate robust discussion and education of current critical topics, address the role of technology as it may affect or drive public policy and identify opportunities for solution building in the public interest." 

Featured speakers include Wyoming State Treasurer Mark Gordon; Mark Northam, Director of the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources; and former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal. The keynote address will be offered by University of Wyoming President Bob Sternberg.  

Featured topics include hydraulic fracturing, the Clean Air Act, future marketability of Wyoming coal, and the development of Wyoming's oil resources.

CLERR is a cross-disciplinary effort of the University of Wyoming's College of Law, the School of Energy Resources and the Helga Otto Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources.  Further information about CLERR can be found here.
