Kilpatrick Townsend's Marc Lieberstein And Brian Colucci To Speak At New York State Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section Fall Meeting

NEW YORK (September 18)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Marc Lieberstein and Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer Brian Colucci will be panelists at the New York State Bar Association's (NYSBA) Intellectual Property Law Section Fall Meeting which will be held in October 17-20 in New York.

Mr. Lieberstein will join industry experts as he chairs a panel titled "Brand Valuation: An International Perspective."  He joins Howard Feller of Marketing Management Group and Julie Saitz of FTI Consulting.  Mr. Lieberstein is also serving as a Program Co-Chair for the NYSBA Intellectual Property Law Section's 2013 Fall Meeting. 

Marc Lieberstein is a partner with Kilpatrick Townsend. A significant part of Marc's practice focuses on intellectual property licensing in the consumer products, industrial design and fashion areas. Marc assists clients with drafting, negotiating and enforcing such licenses, as well as implementation of branding and commercialization objectives for clients via licensing and other commercial transactions. In conjunction with the services above, Marc counsels clients on creating effective strategies for procuring, protecting and enforcing their global intellectual property assets, including patent, copyright and trademark prosecution, trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and appeals in the United States Copyright Office. Marc also provides intellectual property litigation services involving patents, trademarks and copyrights, including related e-commerce, domain name, trade secret and unfair competition services.

Mr. Colucci will be a panelist on the session titled "An Inside-Outside Look at Social Media for IP Attorneys."  He joins Itai Maytal an Associate at Miller Korzenik Sommers LLP, and Lee Pham, Manager of Intellectual Property for American Express.
