Cyprus: The Cyprus - Spain Double Taxation Agreement
Last Updated: 9 October 2013

We were delighted to hear from our colleagues at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, the leading Spanish law firm, that the Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides, had taken time to visit them in the course of his recent official visit to Spain in order to thank them for the joint efforts of our two firms in promoting the negotiation process and signing of the recent double taxation agreement between Cyprus and Spain.

The photograph shows Mr Kasoulides (right) with Cuatrecasas partner Florentino Carreño at the firm's office in Madrid.

The double taxation agreement has recently received the formal approval of the Spanish Cabinet and, will enter into force three months after the remaining ratification procedures are completed.
