Global legal practice, Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Joanna Taylor as a special counsel in its Banking & Finance practice based in Melbourne.

Joanna focuses on project finance transactions in the power, transport, renewable energy, water and health sectors including public private partnerships. She has substantial experience in advising sponsors and financiers on both Australian and cross-border transactions.

"We are delighted Joanna has joined our team. Norton Rose Fulbright has been steadily strengthening its project finance practice in Australia through several key appointments.

"In Melbourne, Joanna Taylor will work closely with Jo Crew, partner, who joined us in early 2013 – both from Herbert Smith Freehills. In Perth, Jake Howard, partner, joined us in 2013 from our London office and in Sydney, Chris Redden, partner, joined from our Hong Kong office in 2012.
