Appointment of Rania Tadros increases shipping and energy & offshore capabilities in the United Arab Emirates

Ince & Co international law firm has announced today that it has bolstered its Dubai office with the appointment of Rania Tadros as a partner. Rania, who moves from the firm's London office, strengthens Ince's shipping and energy & offshore capabilities in the Middle East.

A fluent Arabic speaker, Rania specialises in the shipping and energy & offshore industries. She has extensive commercial transactional, arbitration and litigation experience within the shipping and energy & offshore markets, including handling matters for clients in the offshore support and oilfield services sector. Rania has acted on a number of shipping disputes and casualties in the Middle East, in particular relating to the Suez Canal and surrounding regions. She also has in-depth experience of construction disputes and claims, mainly relating to refund guarantees.

"Rania offers great experience and market knowledge to our clients. Her wide-ranging practice, understanding of the region and appreciation for the local business environment together with her fluency in Arabic, makes her a valuable addition to our team of partners," said Graham Crane, Managing Partner of Ince & Co's Dubai office. "We are excited to welcome Rania to Dubai."

Rania said: "I have many personal and professional connections to the Middle East so this is an exciting opportunity for me. I have worked and travelled throughout the region extensively over the past few years, and look forward to working closely with clients in the region as well as settling down in the UAE with my family."

Rania qualified with an LLB from Kings College London in 1997 and has been with Ince & Co since completion of her training contract in 2000. In Dubai, she will continue to focus on contentious and non-contentious shipping and energy & offshore matters for clients with global interests.
