Germany: WhistleB neues Mitglied bei DICO

WhistleB freut sich über unsere neue Mitgliedschaft bei DICO, dem deutschen Institut für Compliance! DICO hat über 430 Mitglieder, und beschreibt sich selbst wie folgt:

... verfolgt das Ziel der Standardisierung von Compliance und relevanten Qualifikationen, und das Profil des Compliance-Beautragten stärker zu schärfen.

DICO sieht sich als Kontaktpartner für alle, die sich für Compliance in Unternehmen, Vereinen und im Recht interessieren. Der Verein versteht sich als Schlüsselfigur in der Etablierung guter Unternehmungsführung in Deutschland und steht als Netzwerkforum für nationale und internationale Experten zur Verfügung."

Warum hat WhistleB sich dem Verein angeschlossen? Wir erfahren mehr und mehr Interesse deutscher Unternehmen, die auf der Suche nach Alternativen zu etablierten Whistleblowing-Systemen sind. Alle möglichen Organisationen interessieren sich dafür, mehr über die Best-Practise-Lösungen zu erfahren, die wir über Jahre entwickelt haben und die in über 150 Ländern eingesetzt werden.

Wir freuen uns sehr darauf, unsere Expertise zum unternehmensinternen Whistleblowing mit anderen Mitgliedern des DICO zu teilen, da die Rolle des Compliance-Beauftragten mit effektiver interner Fallbearbeitung Hand in Hand geht. Die Aufgabe eines Compliance-Beauftragten besteht darin, gute Unternehmensführung zu gewährleisten, indem Risiken in den Bereichen Unternehmenssicherheit, Korruption, Geldwäsche, Interessenskonflikte, Diskriminierung und Belästigung effektiv gemanagt werden. In all diesen Bereichen lauern Risiken, die Unternehmen ernsthaften Schaden zufügen können. Whistleblowing stellt dabei ein zuverlässiges Instrument für Compliance-Beauftragte und die Führungsebene dar, um diesen rasch begegnen zu können.

Nachvollziehbarer Weise ist der Compliance-Beauftragte daher in der Regel Teil des Whistleblowing-Teams. Dies sind Mitarbeiter, die für die Betreuung eines Whistleblowing-Systems verantwortlich sind, Ermittlungen einleiten, und wenn nötig interne oder externe Beteiligte einschalten. Gemäß unserer 4. Kundenbefragung sind Mitglieder der Compliance- oder Rechtsabteilung in den häufigsten Fällen Teil der Whistleblowing-Teams. Angestellte in diesen Rollen verfügen in der Regel über sowohl das notwendige Wissen als auch Training, um mit Hinweisgeberfällen, die oft sensible Informationen enthalten, umzugehen. Diese Fähigkeiten werden in naher Zukunft zunehmend wichtiger, da die neue EU Richtline zum Schutz von Hinweisgebern die Ernennung unabhängiger Empfänger, die entsprechende Kompetenzen zur Kommunikation mit Hinweisgebern und Bearbeitung von Fällen" vorsieht.
