Guernsey: Guernsey’s Ipes Named Europe’s Specialist Administrator
Last Updated: 24 December 2012

Fund services provider Ipes has been named the European Specialist Administrator of the Year for 2012 at the Funds Europe Awards in London for the second year in a row.

The awards are in their 8th year and recognise excellence, demonstrated clearly and concisely in the key areas of performance, growth, innovation, development, client service and commitment to the industry and Europe.

Judged by an independent industry panel, Ipes fought off competition from Alter Domus, Custom House and SEI in their category.

Ipes Commercial Director Justin Partington said: "Receiving this award is a great way to end the year. As a business we have experienced significant growth again this year, despite the market conditions remaining relatively tough. Being recognised in this way is testament to our commitment to the industry and to our entrepreneurial and dedicated staff that provide industry leading service to our clients."

Funds Europe Editor Nick Fitzpatrick added: "The judges recognised Ipes for continued growth, its focus on the private equity sector and for the quality of its client service and value-added services. It was also noted the firm had expanded its talent base."

Ipes was established in Guernsey in 1998 and today employs a team of more than 130 professionals across offices in Guernsey, London, Luxembourg and Jersey. The firm is ranked sixth globally based on Private Equity assets under administration by ICFA magazine and second in Guernsey by Lipper Fitzrovia in the 2011/2012 Fund Encyclopaedia.
