UK: Gouldens Named as Top AIM Firm
Last Updated: 3 May 2002

Gouldens has won the award of top AIM Law Firm of 2002 by Growth Company Investor, the magazine aimed at fast-growing companies.

Corporate Partner James Brokenshire received the award on behalf of Gouldens from Christopher Holdsworth-Hunt of event sponsors KBC Peel Hunt at a reception at Grocers’ Hall in the City on Monday evening. The short-list of finalists was drawn up from a confidential survey of Chief Executive Officers and Finance Directors of all companies listed on the Alternative Investment Market.

James Brokenshire said:
"We are absolutely delighted to receive this award, particularly as it is based on the views of the people that really matter – the top executives of AIM companies. In the 2001 calendar year Gouldens advised on 12 AIM deals with a combined value of £391 million and I think this award recognises the hard-work and professionalism of all the members of our corporate finance team, not only in the last twelve months but since the AIM market first came into existence. We pride ourselves on the quality of service which we provide for our clients and it is great for the team to have their work recognised in this way."
