Scott is a highly regarded technology practitioner with more than 14 years' experience and his addition to the team significantly strengthens our offering in this field. Scott's relocation comes at a time of significant development of the firm's IPT practice in Asia Pacific. We have already featured David Richardson and Yan Zhao in previous editions, and Scott's arrival as a partner in Hong Kong means that we now have 14 partners across our Asia Pacific team.

Scott specialises in the areas of outsourcing and complex technology transactions, advising both users and suppliers of IT, and outsourcing services. He provides strategic advice to both public and private sector clients on all aspects of the procurement process and his work often involves high value, business-critical projects for multi-national corporations. his client base includes a number of significant financial services companies and he is identified as being a leading IT and outsourcing lawyer by the legal directories, including Legal 500 and Chambers. The most recent edition of Legal 500 reports that "Scott's grasp of individual IT contracts and breadth of knowledge is excellent".

Originally from Australia, and having spent several years in Scotland, Scott is a keen cook and golfer. He enjoys experimenting with unusual ingredients and has already sampled many of the culinary delicacies hong Kong has to offer. scott prefers not to comment on his golf, but it is safe to say that he keeps the ball manufacturers busy...
