Spain: Clarke, Modet & Cº Por La Igualdad Salarial

La igualdad profesional entre hombres y mujeres es hoy uno de los mayores retos que se plantean las empresas a nivel internacional, y determinados sectores, como el de la Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual no son la excepción. Así, en los últimos años, se ha puesto especial interés por lograr mejoras en lo que a paridad se refiere, si bien, aún hay mucho por andar.

La primera celebración del Día de la Mujer tuvo lugar el 28 de febrero de 1909 en Nueva York, aunque fue la Conferencia Internacional de Mujeres de 1910 la que abogó por que el 8 de marzo se convierta en el "Día Internacional de la Mujer". Cuando por fin las mujeres obtuvieron el sufragio en la Rusia soviética en 1917, el 8 de marzo se convirtió en una fiesta nacional allí. El día era celebrado sobre todo por el movimiento socialista y los países comunistas hasta que, en 1975, fue reconocido por las Naciones Unidas.

Hoy, la mayoría de las oficinas nacionales de Propiedad Industrial o la propia OMPI aprovechan esta fecha para celebrar la figura de la mujer en su espacio. Y con datos muy interesantes, como muestra la evolución de la titularidad de las mujeres en las solicitudes de patentes, donde hay un largo camino por recorrer y una clara oportunidad de mejora, esperando que no se alcance la paridad real hasta el 2076.

Destacan ya con buenos resultados, entre países en los que Clarke, Modet & Cº está presente, España, México y Brasil, en comparación con el resto de países que más patentes solicitan en el mundo.

Hay sectores específicos donde esta paridad ya se puede presentar como un capítulo de éxito, como los productos farmacéuticos (55%), los productos químicos orgánicos elaborados (54%) y la química de alimentos (51%).

Este año todo el Grupo quiere sumarse al día de la mujer, de larga tradición en países como Perú y Colombia, entre otros. ¿Quieres conocer nuestros ratios?

No es noticia que, en el conjunto del Grupo, el número de mujeres supera con creces al de hombres, si bien, cabe destacar, que lo mismo sucede en cada uno de los 10 países, siendo España la que mayor diferencia presenta. Es el grupo "Corporativo" el que puede presumir de mayor equidad, con prácticamente el mismo número de hombres que de mujeres, algo casi anecdótico si se compara con el resto de equipos, en los que ellas van ganando por goleada. Asimismo, de los 10 Directores Generales que lideran las compañías del Grupo 5 son mujeres.

Este año, con el lema "Clarke, Modet & Cº por la igualdad salarial" el grupo hace público también el promedio de Salario Anual Bruto 2017 entre hombres y mujeres en los puestos de Administrativo y Consultor en cada compañía.

De los 20 puestos de Administrativo y Consultor ( 2 por filial), en 13 de ellos el salario medio de las mujeres es igual o superior al de los hombres:
