We are pleased to announce that Mark Baker-Jones has joined our Planning & Environment Team in the Brisbane office as a special counsel.

Mark has extensive experience in all aspects of planning and environment law, including water, vegetation and sustainability. He has also practised in all aspects of associated law, including compulsory acquisition of land, valuation, land access and native title law.

Mark's other experience includes:

  • the planning of retail, commercial and industrial developments
  • state and local government planning and development instruments
  • infrastructure planning and charging arrangements
  • planning and environmental conflict resolution
  • environmental management, including erosion and sediment control
  • compulsory acquisition and state resource entitlement in respect of coastal and marine development.
