Australia: Middletons is the proud legal partner of Sydney Writers' Festival for the second year in a row
Last Updated: 13 April 2011

Middletons is once again the exclusive legal partner of Sydney Writers' Festival (SWF), the largest and most successful festival of its kind in Australia.

Speaking about the partnership, Middletons national managing partner Nick Nichola said, "Sydney Writers' Festival is an important intellectual and cultural event in Sydney and therefore something with which we are proud to be associated."

"As the official law firm we have worked closely with SWF to provide intellectual property and branding advice to help deliver this year's festival. Middletons is also proud to support international keynote speaker Fattima Bhutto and gastronomic writer Anthony Bourdain's headlining events. We look forward to introducing both these remarkable authors to our clients."

The 2011 festival will run from 16–22 May. Some 80,000 people are expected to attend over 300 events scheduled in this year's program, which includes prize-winning local and international writers.

Chip Rolley, SWF Artistic Director said, "We're honoured to have Middletons as our legal partner. Their support gives meaning to the word 'partner' and has empowered us to present an exciting and stimulating program to the people of Sydney."
