United States: Stroock Adds Experienced Corporate Finance And M&A Advisor Andrew Jacobs To Corporate Group

New York, NY, September 6, 2017 – Adding an accomplished corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions lawyer to its Corporate group, Stroock announced the arrival of Andrew Jacobs, who advises leading investments banks, commercial banks and public and private companies in a wide range of transactions.  Formerly an associate at Cahill, he joins as special counsel in Stroock's New York office.

Mr. Jacobs's practice focuses primarily on leveraged finance, where he represents borrowers and lenders on secured and unsecured debt offerings, syndicated loan transactions and out-of-court debt restructurings.  He also advises clients on initial public offerings and other equity offerings and regularly counsels companies and private equity and hedge funds on general corporate matters.

Mr. Jacobs volunteers for Part of the Solution, a leading New York City social services non-profit that helps low-income New Yorkers with emergency food, social services and legal representation, including a legal clinic focused on eviction prevention and improper denial of benefits.

He received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law where he was an editor of the law review and his B.A. from Boston College.
