Cayman Islands: Two Intertrust Employees To Run In The 2017 NYC Marathon In Aid Of The Children’s Aid Society NYC
Last Updated: 31 August 2017

We are thrilled to announce two of its team members, Victor Liebregt and Mauricio Carmagnani, will run the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon to benefit The Children's Aid Society. Children's Aid is a charity partner of the TCS New York City Marathon, and Intertrust, in turn, has committed to training with and raising funds to support Children's Aid. Additionally, Intertrust is pleased to be running alongside Jackson Blair, an associate at law firm Kirkland Ellis, who has joined as part of Team Children's Aid, the organization's marathon team.

Since 1853, Children's Aid has remained steadfast in its mission to help children living in poverty to succeed and thrive across New York City. Today, the organization provides comprehensive services from birth through young adulthood to nearly 50,000 children and their families at more than 40 locations in New York City as well as Westchester County, ensuring that young people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential. From early childhood education to college and job preparation, Children's Aid commits to working with young people every step of the way through their development. Since its founding 164 years ago, the organization continues to meet the changing needs of New York City's residents and communities.

Since 2011, the Intertrust Foundation has been committed to a corporate responsibility program focusing on youth and education initiatives both globally and locally. Through the foundation, Intertrust gives back to communities in which it operates. They will be matching funds up to $5,000 of our runners' combined $10,000 fundraising goal.

Victor Liebregt , Senior Vice President, Intertrust US says, "For a lot of people, New York is a hard city to live in, especially for young people. This is a great way to use my network, and the company's, to make this a better place for everyone." Mauricio Carmagnani, Managing Director from Intertrust Brazil office adds, "Running a marathon committed to improve children´s lives creates a totally different meaning for an experienced runner like me. I'm proud to have my employer supporting such an initiative, alongside my network."

Funds raised will go towards the Children's Aid Society's 2017 NYC Marathon goal of $30,000. Every dollar makes a difference! We encourage you to make a donation to either Victor's or Mauricio's fundraising pages. All your donations are tax deductible.
