Australia: Middletons appoints a new partner to the firm's growing national Property, Development & Construction group

Today, Middletons has appointed a new partner, Vicki Sharp to its growing Property, Development & Construction group. Previously of Herbert Geer, Vicki has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial, residential, industrial and retail property.

In making the announcement, Middletons National Managing Partner, Nick Nichola said, "Vicki is a very experienced operator working for leading Australian companies with significant property interests and developers. Vicki is a welcome addition to an area of our business that continues to thrive nationally."

Mr Nichola added, "Vicki's strong commercial experience combined with her 'straight talking' approach to servicing clients made it an obvious choice for a team that is seeing an increase in matters as the economy begins to pick up."

Middletons Head of Property, Development and Construction group, Justin Lethlean said, "Vicki is a first class property practitioner and we are delighted to have her on board as our team grows. She will bring with her a range of skills that will complement and strengthen the current Middletons Property, Development and Construction group."

Ms Sharp advises major corporates and owners, tenants and landlords, assisting them to develop and manage their property portfolios and emerging and established property developers.

In choosing to join the firm Ms Sharp said, "Middletons has long been known for its expertise in property law and I am delighted to be a part of the firm's growth."

Ms Sharp advises in relation to purchases and sales, leases and lease disputes, subdivisions and owners corporation issues as well as residential, industrial and commercial property developments.

Middletons recently won the prestigious BRW ANZ "Private Business of the Year" award for 2010. The BRW ANZ Private Business Awards formally recognise the outstanding achievements of private businesses, and acknowledge the significant and valuable contribution they make to the Australian economy.
