United States: Wes Durham Returns to Talk 2017 College Football Season at Womble Carlyle’s Countdown to Kickoff

ATLANTA—Can Clemson repeat as National Champions? Will Alabama remain the team to beat in the SEC? What college football programs are on the rise around the country?

Fox Sports South broadcaster Wes Durham will have the answers to these and many other college football questions at Womble Carlyle's annual Countdown to Kickoff, which takes place Tuesday, August 22 in the firm's Atlanta office. The popular annual event also will be broadcast to Womble Carlyle's other offices.

Countdown to Kickoff starts at 5:30 p.m. with BBQ and networking, with Durham speaking and taking questions starting at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to have your questions ready!

About Wes Durham

Wes Durham is a TV broadcaster with Fox Sports South, where he does college football and basketball play-by-play on a regional basis. Durham assumed that position in 2013 after 18 years as the play-by-play radio voice for Georgia Tech football and basketball. He is also entering his 14th season as the play-by-play radio announcer for the Atlanta Falcons.

Durham has been selected "Sportscaster of the Year" for Georgia by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association on ten different occasions, including most recently for 2015.  In October 2015, Durham was inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame. He was honored by the Atlanta Sports Council with the "Furman Bisher Award" for Sports Media Excellence in 2006.
