United States: Womble Carlyle Attorney Morris Ellison Takes Part In South Carolina Trade Delegation To Estonia

Charleston partner Morris Ellison recently traveled to Estonia as a member of a trade delegation from South Carolina.  The trip was led by Harry Huge, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Estonia for the State of South Carolina.  The major purpose of the trip was to begin the implementation of the recently executed South Carolina Estonia Trade Agreement.  Accompanying Ellison on the trip were representatives of the South Carolina Department of Commerce, officials from the University of South Carolina, development officials from Richland County and the City of Columbia as well as private investors. 

The South Carolina delegation visited government offices as well as accelerators affiliated with the Tallinn University of Technology and the University of Tartu.  The delegation met with the American ambassador to Estonia as well as numerous Estonian representatives including government officials, the Rector of the University of Tartu, and members of the private sector.
