Last Updated: 1 August 2017

Local law firm, Coleman Greig, and one of its Principals, Malcolm Gittoes-Caesar, are in the running to take out two of Australia's most coveted law awards.

Coleman Greig has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Boutique Law Firm of the Year category while Malcolm has been shortlisted in the Partner of the Year category at the nationally-recognised 2017 Australian Law Awards hosted by Lawyers Weekly.

Now in its 17th consecutive year, the Australian Law Awards recognises the industry's leading legal professionals and law firms.

Warrick McLean, Coleman Greig CEO, said that the firm was thrilled to be recognised for the quality of the legal services it provides throughout Western Sydney.

Established in 1928, Coleman Greig provides commercial and personal services for businesses and residents across the region from its offices in Parramatta and Norwest.

Warrick said, "It's an honour to be amongst such a strong field of Finalists in both categories.

"Coleman Greig is growing from strength-to-strength, much like the community we're based in! We're excited about this acknowledgement from the sector about the services that we're providing, in particular Malcolm's efforts in building a strong, compassionate and dedicated Family Law team.

Emma Ryan, Lawyers Weekly features editor, said that the calibre of this year's submissions reflects the high-level of expertise within the legal profession.

"The finalists for the 2017 Australian Law Awards highlights those who are going above and beyond for their firm and their clients, from the profession's most senior ranks to its rising stars.

The winners will be announced at The Star, Sydney on Friday, 1 September 2017.
