Day Pitney partner Keith Bradoc Gallant was recently elected to the Board of Regents and Executive Committee of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Day Pitney partners David L. Silvian and Darren M. Wallace were recently elected as ACTEC Fellows.

ACTEC is a national professional organization of approximately 2,600 lawyers who have been elected to membership by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.

To qualify for membership, a lawyer must have no less than 10 years' experience in the active practice of probate and trust law or estate planning. Lawyers and law professors are elected to be Fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities. It is their aim to improve and reform probate, trust and tax laws, procedures, and professional responsibility.

Day Pitney now has 16 attorneys who are ACTEC Fellows.
