Last Updated: 13 July 2017

Conyers Dill & Pearman is pleased to announce the appointment of James Denham as an Associate in the Corporate department of the Firm's Cayman Islands office. James' practice areas will include corporate finance, M&A, corporate reorganisations and capital markets with a particular focus on derivatives and structured finance transactions.

Prior to joining Conyers, James trained and worked, post qualification, in the London office of Allen & Overy as part of the Derivatives and Structured Finance team. His work included OTC derivatives trades (equity and credit), repackaging programmes, regulatory advice and a number of high value derivatives disputes arising from the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the Icelandic banking system during the financial crisis.

Commenting on James' appointment, Kevin Butler, Partner & Head of the Cayman Islands Office, said "We are pleased that James has joined the Firm. Based on his past achievements and skillset, we know that he will be a valued addition to our corporate team".
