The Clayton Utz Hong Kong office, in association with Haley & Co, will initially focus on providing clients with services in construction and major projects and international dispute resolution.

Clayton Utz is strengthening our commitment to providing our clients with access to the best legal services wherever they do business with the announcement that we will open an office in Hong Kong in a formal association with one of the leading construction lawyers in the region, Glenn Haley.

The Clayton Utz Hong Kong office, in association with Haley & Co, will initially focus on providing clients with services in construction and major projects and international dispute resolution (including international arbitration) ― growth areas in which Clayton Utz dominates the Australian market. The Hong Kong office will have the full support of the Australian firm with over 200 partners, 904 legal staff and 880 shared services staff based in six offices around Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin and Perth.

Clayton Utz partner Colin Dodd, who is already resident in Hong Kong, will oversee the office as Clayton Utz' representative. Colin has many years' experience in the region, having spent five years in Taipei leading the Clayton Utz team that advised on the Taiwan High Speed Rail project. The office will have the full support of Clayton Utz' lawyers across Australia and in particular, a number of senior partners such as litigation and dispute resolution specialist Stuart Clark and Major Projects and International Arbitration practice head and partner Doug Jones.
