United States: In Anticipation Of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™: A Talk On Corruption In International Sport
Last Updated: June 21 2017

We would like to invite you to our next Baltimore Speaker Series event on Thursday, June 29. Renowned attorney David William Larkin will discuss the topic of corruption in international sports.

With the FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia next year, the topic of corruption in international sports is again at the forefront. In 2016, FIFA acknowledged that past World Cups were awarded due to bribes. Prosecutors seized nearly $200 million from indicted former FIFA officials, and the scandal ended the 17-year term of FIFA President Sepp Blatter.
