United States: Jonathan Grode Featured As Panelist On Cross-Border Perspectives, Philadelphia Bar Reporter
Last Updated: June 19 2017

As reported in the June 2016 issue of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, U.S. Practice Director Jonathan Grode recently served as a panelist in a program titled "Cross-Border Perspectives on Handling International Legal Issues in the United States and Abroad," sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Jonathan's panel took place during the Philadelphia Bar Association's Le Barreau de Lyon 20th Anniversary Celebration, which commemorated twenty years of the twinning relationship between Philadelphia and Lyon, France. Representing a U.S. immigration practitioner's viewpoint, Jonathan discussed cross-border issues that French companies seeking to do business in Philadelphia face, leveraging his years of experience in securing E-1, E-2, L-1, and Permanent Resident visas for qualifying French nationals. The panel also included fellow distinguished members of the legal community in Philadelphia, as well as those from Lyon, France, and Montreal, Canada.

Founded in 1802, the Philadelphia Bar Association is the oldest association of lawyers in the United States. Each month the organization publishes the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, which focuses its coverage on the Bar's activities, events, and articles of interest to the Philadelphia legal community.
