Last Updated: June 13 2017

Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that on June 12, 2017, Partner Jeffrey Alberts joined Partner Pinchus Raice to co-lead the firm's rapidly expanding Financial Institutions Group.

Alberts, a former federal prosecutor in the Manhattan U.S. Attorney's Office, has extensive experience representing banks and bank executives in government investigations, regulatory enforcement proceedings and criminal matters.

"Jeffrey is one of the foremost banking litigators in Manhattan," Raice said. "His experience defending financial institutions and executives, coupled with his background as a federal prosecutor, have enabled him to achieve unmatched litigation results in case after case. Jeffrey's skills and judgment make him ideally suited to co-lead our group."

"As banking regulators and prosecutors have become more aggressive, our clients have an increasing need for counsel skilled in the art of dispute resolution," Alberts said. "Pryor Cashman's Financial Institutions Group has a well-earned reputation for zealously advocating on behalf of clients facing government scrutiny. I look forward to joining Pinchus as Co-Chair of this group."
