Changes to titles office processes, procedures and requirements in the move to e-conveyancing

This seminar will discuss the recent changes implemented by the titles office over the past two years, which are designed to bring paper transactions in line with e-conveyancing requirements and shift towards the use of e-conveyancing and the electronic lodgement of documents.

The topics covered will include:

  • verification of identification requirements, client authorisation forms and e-titles, and how these impact on settlements
  • documents required by your legal practitioners for settlement
  • changes by Land Use Victoria to the way Crown land is recorded in their system.
