Canada: Understanding The Changes To Alberta Labour And Employment Standards Laws
Last Updated: June 8 2017

Bill 17 Fair and Family-Friendly Workplaces Act was introduced in the Legislature last week. It will profoundly change Alberta's Employment Standards Code and Labour Relations Code. Parts of it could become law in a matter of days or a few short weeks, and others are effective September 1 or January 1. Employers need to be equipped to deal with all of the changes in this massive overhaul of employment legislation.

Learn how those changes will impact you from our experienced panel: Hugh McPhail, Q.C., Vicki Giles, and Tom Ross.
