Last Updated: 25 May 2017

Australia's leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has appointed intellectual property law and trade mark specialist Jürgen Bebber as a Partner based in Melbourne.

With significant experience in intellectual property law, Jürgen assists clients in protecting and enforcing trade marks. He also specialises in internet related issues ranging from cyber-squatting to cyber fraud.

As a German national born in South Africa, Jürgen brings a strong international perspective to the table when advising clients, and has worked with some of the world's biggest brands to devise strategic trade mark strategies that set them apart from competitors.

"Jürgen is a leader in his field and we are delighted he has joined Corrs where he will provide our clients with first class strategic advice around trade marks. He is well known in the market for his commitment to truly understanding his clients' businesses, something which is extremely important to Corrs as a client-driven firm. In addition, his focus on targeting inbound work from both international premium independent firms and large IP specialist firms is well aligned with Corrs' international strategy," said Corrs Partner and CEO John W.H.
