New Zealand: A large leap for charity to assist NZ youth
Last Updated: 23 May 2017

Chapman Tripp consultant Michael Jonas will leap from the Southern Hemisphere's tallest tower, plummeting 192m to raise funds for New Zealand youth.

Michael, a consultant and former partner who specialises in banking & finance law, is participating in this year's Drop Your Boss in support of The Graeme Dingle Foundation.

The foundation runs four large school-based programmes for children and teenagers aged five to 18 years in schools across New Zealand, with the goal of setting New Zealand youth up with a strong platform for adult life and a career.
The event – which is the foundation's largest fundraiser of the year – will see a number of corporate partners and business leaders "dropped" from the Auckland's Sky Tower on Thursday, 8 June. Prior to that, each "Boss" must raise $3,500 via a GiveaLittle page.

"The foundation does great work assisting children and youth to find their way in life, and it's a cause I thoroughly support. That's the motivation for doing this – and besides it will be fun," said Michael, who has enjoyed jumping out of planes, climbing to heights, diving to depths, and more. "Helping to fund the foundation to carry out their good work will be an absolute privilege," he said. Please donate to Michael here.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is a child and youth charity founded by Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson in 1995.The foundation is a leader in the field of child and youth development, running several successful proven programmes – Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator, Project K and MYND.
