Last Updated: May 22 2017

RESTON, VA.—From the classroom to the boardroom, Women in Technology (WIT) promotes opportunities for women in the technology industry. And on May 11, WIT honored several women who exemplify leadership and innovation in the tech sector.

Womble Carlyle was a sponsor of the 18th Annual 2017 WIT Leadership Awards event. Attorneys Debbie Israel, Cathy Hinger and Keith Mendelson and Director of Client Service Cameron Hunt represented the firm at the ceremony. Debbie served as one of the judges responsible for evaluating nominees in the Corporate Mid-Market and Corporate Small Market sectors.  Keith served as a judge last year and Cathy is an active member of WIT.  Several firm clients and business targets joined the Womble Carlyle table as well.

Women in Technology is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of advancing women in technology by providing advocacy, leadership development, networking, mentoring and technology education. With nearly 1,000 members in the Washington, D.C. area, WIT strives to meet its vision of being the premier organization empowering women to be architects of change in the technology industry.
