Australia: Deacons Australia To Become Norton Rose From 1 January
Last Updated: 17 July 2009

Deacons Australia will change its name to Norton Rose on January 1, 2010 and become part of the Norton Rose Group. This is an exciting new development, and will position us as one of the leading international law firms in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. After joining forces with Norton Rose we will have a total of 29 offices across the world.

Although on a day to day basis there will be no change for our franchising clients, we will have access to substantial additional expertise and resources. There are strong business/client synergies in the combined practice, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, Europe, UK and in the Middle East. We are confident that the increased strength and depth of coverage will improve the Group's service to clients worldwide.
