Last Updated: 12 May 2017

Sydney, 10 May 2017: Clayton Utz has an impressive cohort of young lawyers shortlisted for accolades at the 2017 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards, announced yesterday.

The shortlisted lawyers are:

  • Danielle Barry - Pro Bono
  • David Foong - Commercial
  • John Karantonis - Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Kate McLean - Projects, Energy and Resources
  • Rachel Richardson - Construction and Real Estate

The nominations follow the earlier successes of Clayton Utz lawyers in the awards. Senior associates Jasmine Singh and Eugene Tan were previously awarded for their achievements in Energy and Resources and Government respectively, and lawyer Peonie Gebbie won in the Government category last year.

The Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards recognise the legal profession's brightest young lawyers for their outstanding work, leadership and contributions to the profession and community. This year, 150 lawyers have been shortlisted for awards across 15 categories.

Winners will be announced at a cocktail event in Sydney on 23 June.
