United States: Womble Carlyle Clients Mid-States Packaging, Goer Drive Investors Bringing Jobs, Investment To S.C. Lowcountry

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.—Congratulations to Mid-States Packaging and Goer Drive Investors! The two Womble Carlyle clients are working together on an exciting new economic development project.

Mid-States Packaging establish new packaging, warehousing and transportation operations at 4500 Goer Drive in North Charleston. The $5.2 million project is expected to create 30 new jobs, and hiring will begin in the fall. Goer Drive Investors, an affiliate of Mid-States Packaging, will own the North Charleston facility and will be making additional investments in land and improvements at the project site.

Mid-States Packaging offers a range of services such as transportation, logistics, packaging, warehousing, rail service, containers and sea bulk. The company provides services to meet all supply chain requirements for its customers. Established in 2001 by Tracy Giroux-Harpin and Charles Giroux, Mid-States Packaging has existing locations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Texas.
