Last Updated: April 27 2017

CHARLESTON, S.C.—Carnival Cruise Lines recently hosted the board of the Maritime Association of South Carolina at a luncheon on board its CARNIVAL ECSTACY during the popular cruise ship's weekly call at the Port of Charleston, her home port.  Gordon Schreck of Womble Carlyle's Charleston office, and a former chair and ex-officio member of the MASC board, was among those attending.

The ECSTACY is one of a fleet of 25 cruise ships operated by Carnival Cruise Lines, among Carnival Corporation's several cruise brands, which include Princess, Holland America, Seabourn, Costa, Aida, and Cunard.   Womble Carlyle's Admiralty, Global Logistics and Transportation Practice Team acts as local counsel for Carnival at the Port of Charleston.

Gordon Schreck is a Senior Partner in the Charleston office, where he focuses his practice on intermodal transportation and marine financing.  He has some 47 years of experience representing cargo and passenger shipping lines and their marine insurers at the Port of Charleston.
