Toronto, ON – Collins Barrow Toronto is pleased to announce that Maria Severino has assumed the role of practice area leader for the firm's tax group.

In this new role, Maria will oversee the group, which includes transfer pricing, international and U.S. tax, as well as government incentives and indirect tax practices. She will also continue to focus on achieving exceptional client outcomes in complex tax transactions, while setting the strategic direction for the group.

"Maria exemplifies entrepreneurial thinking," says Enzo Testa, partner, Tax Advisory, who will continue to be a senior advisor to Maria and an important member of the firm's Management Committee.

"She is an exceptional practitioner, delivering value in highly complex tax transactions. She instills valuable insights and a strong sense of collaboration in our staff, key qualities needed to develop innovative tax strategies to assist our clients and support the firm's growth."

"We are tremendously thankful to Enzo for the guidance and leadership he has provided and we will continue to benefit from his role as a member of our Management Committee," says managing partner Harry Blum. "We also congratulate Maria on this outstanding achievement and her ongoing commitment to our firm. We offer her our full support as she undertakes this important role."
