UK: Three New Partners At Shadbolt LLP

Infrastructure law specialists Shadbolt LLP are pleased to announce three internal promotions to partnership with effect from 1 April 2009.

The firm’s construction practice continues to grow with the promotion of Jonathan Gold and Daniel Tain to the partnership. Jonathan specialises in construction dispute resolution and numbers Kier and Rydon amongst his clients. He has recently advised on a multi million pound dispute in relation to a rail project in East London. Daniel specialises in the procurement of major construction projects, particularly in the energy field, and has recently advised on projects in South America and the Middle East. His clients include Doosan Babcock and Ferrovial-Agroman.

Stuart Hutson is promoted to the partnership within the firm’s corporate team. He has recently advised Atkins plc and Galliford Try plc in relation to substantial acquisitions.

Jonathan, Daniel and Stuart all joined the firm as trainee solicitors and are the first Shadbolt trainees to become partners of the firm. After qualifying, Jonathan spent 4 years in house with Laing O Rourke, returning to Shadbolt in 2006. Daniel and Stuart have both spent periods on secondment to Galliford Try plc and Atkins plc during their time at Shadbolt.
