Hong Kong: New Lateral Hire For Deacons

Deacons is delighted to announce the arrival of new partner Richard H. Lawrence III, formerly responsible for Denton Wilde Sapte's China and Project Finance practices in Hong Kong. Richard regularly advises on project development and finance, corporate and direct investment. He has extensive experience in PRC and Taiwan related transactions. During his over 15 years in Asia, he has been involved in a number of high profile projects including the Antaibao Surface Coal Mine Project, the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant Project, the Yacheng No. 13-1 Gas Pipeline Project, the Laibin B Power Plant BOT Project, the Taiwan High Speed Rail Project, the Chengdu No. 6 Water Plant B BOT Project and the Guangdong LNG Terminal and Trunk Pipeline Project, among others.

Richard joins Deacons' eminent China practice which has over 50 legal practitioners, translators and researchers and an excellent reputation for dealing with wide-ranging commercial matters in China, advising principally on infrastructure, joint ventures, investment regulations, the establishment of hotels, manufacturing and processing facilities, intellectual property, banking, finance, technology and communications.
