Guernsey: Guernsey Fund Administrator Wins Second Award
Last Updated: 13 October 2008

Guernsey-based Augentius Fund Administration has this week been named as Private Equity Fund Administrator of the Year by Private Equity News.

This is Augentius’ second award having been named, in September, by Global Custodian magazine as the Top Rated Private Equity fund administrator in London.

David Bailey, Managing Partner, said: "This is a fantastic achievement and recognition, by the industry, of the hard work of all our staff. We are very proud of what we have achieved but are not resting on our laurels. We are in the process of expanding the business into the US and other parts of the world.

"The business was built on the concept of delivering the highest quality service to our clients and this approach runs throughout the core of our business. This award underlines what we have achieved to date and we are looking forward to taking our model into new parts of the globe."

Augentius Fund Administration is a specialist Private Equity and Property Fund administrator. The business was launched in 2003 and now administers more than $65bn of funds with over 100 staff in its offices in London and Guernsey.

Kerry-Anne Morley, Managing Director, Augentius Fund Administration (Guernsey) Limited, said: "I am overwhelmed by the success we have had to date. We will continue to recruit talented team players and work in close partnership with our existing and new clients."

Peter Niven, Chief Executive of Guernsey Finance, added: "Congratulations to Augentius on what is a tremendous ‘double’ success – this is great news for Augentius and great news for Guernsey. The Island has fantastic service providers, including boutique funds administrators like Augentius employing skilled staff and the latest IT systems to deliver bespoke clients solutions. These awards reinforce the fact that Guernsey’s reputation for high quality service is well-founded."
