Join us for a half-day workshop that introduces the processes involved in property development and feasibility assessment. Topics will include the nature and purposes of property development, development economics, the regulatory context, and the feasibility of projects and how they engage with the planning system.


  • A recognition of the different players involved in the development process and the relationship between each;
  • An understanding of the various roles of private property developers and the ways they operate to achieve project outcomes;
  • An appreciation of property as a form of investment and the concepts of financing, taxation and conveyancing;
  • Completion of a hypothetical development feasibility assessments.

Course requirement: Access to an intent enabled smart phone, tablet or laptop PC and calculator is a requirement of this course.
