Australia: Welcome Adam West, new Family Law Principal
Last Updated: 4 March 2017

The Principals at Coleman Greig are excited to announce the appointment of a new Principal in our growing Family Law practice.

Adam West is an Accredited Specialist who brings more than a decade of experience in complex family law matters to the firm including property disputes, parenting arrangements and recovery applications.

Adam is experienced in representing clients in a variety of jurisdictions including the Family Court of Australia; the Federal Circuit Court; Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales; and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.

Adam's move cements our Family Law team as a powerful presence in Western Sydney, following our rapid expansion in the last 12 months. Having almost doubled in size from 2015 to become 14 strong, the team boasts three experienced Accredited Specialists. Adam will join Malcolm Gittoes-Caesar, Head of Family Law, in continuing to develop and strengthen our practice in this area.

Formerly of Slater + Gordon Penrith, Adam has previously spent seven years as a Co-Director at Cox West Lawyers in Penrith. Adam has also sat on the Legal Aid Commission of NSW Panel for Family Law Solicitors, representing clients who receive legal aid funding, and has done pro bono work through the Hawkesbury Nepean Legal Centre.

In joining Coleman Greig, Adam will be able to further develop his strong reputation across Penrith, and the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury regions.

Coleman Greig officially welcomed Adam into the firm's Family Law team on 1 March. Adam is working out of our two offices in Parramatta-CBD and Norwest Business Park.
