Last Updated: February 27 2017

On Feb. 21 the Fund Intelligence Group released their short lists for the 2017 industry awards, which included three Ropes & Gray attorneys: investment management partner Jeremy Smith (New York) is named and profiled as a Rising Star; and investment management partners Paul Dykstra and Paulita Pike (both of Chicago) have been inducted into The Mutual Fund Awards Hall of Fame.

Each year, Fund Action and Fund Directions recognize 10 individuals as Rising Stars within the mutual fund industry. Selection criteria includes demonstrating leadership in the profession and providing outstanding contributions to innovations, product development, client service, sales or growth.

The Hall of Fame honors outstanding members of the investment management community who have been winners of two previous Mutual Fund Industry Awards. Mr. Dykstra and Ms. Pike were awarded Fund Directions' Independent Counsel Of The Year in 2007 and 2012 for providing outstanding representation of independent mutual fund directors.

An Award Ceremony will be held in New York on March 30.
