Last Updated: 19 February 2008

The Commercial Department at Dickinson Cruickshank is pleased to welcome Andy Webb to the team as a Consultant. Andy is a former partner from Cains and was latterly with the Isle of Man Attorney General’s Office as a legislative draftsman. Andy has joined the department bringing with him a wealth of expertise and knowledge particularly in structured finance transactions as well as banking, aviation law and aircraft finance.

Andy is a valuable senior addition to the Commercial team which over the last 18 months has seen a rapid period of growth. The appointment of another senior advocate will add further depth to the firm enhancing the service they offer to their clients and continuing to strengthen Dickinson Cruickshank’s position as one of the Island’s leading law firms.

Nick Verardi, Joint Head of the Commercial Department commented, " We now have over 20 lawyers qualified in jurisdictions ranging from Hong Kong to Canada and the department is continuing to expand to keep up with the demands of the international work being attracted to the Island. Andy’s addition to the team cannot be underestimated – he brings with him a breadth and depth of experience in a number of key areas for the department including structured and aircraft finance. Both of these areas have grown in importance particularly over the last 12 months with the addition of the 2006 Act Company which has already a proven record as an attractive vehicle for international finance. I am delighted to be able to welcome him to our team and look forward to working with him in the future."
